Aktion Saubere Hände
Aktion Saubere Hände is a nation-wide campaign to improve hand hygiene compliance in German healthcare facilities.
It was established on January 1, 2008 by the German National Reference Center for Surveillance of Nosocomial Infections (NRZ), the Aktionsbündnis Patientensicherheit e.V. (Action Coalition for Patient Safety) (APS) and the Gesellschaft für Qualitätsmanagement in der Gesundheitsversorgung e.V. (Association for Quality Management in Healthcare), with support from the German Federal Ministry of Health.
A support association comprised of a variety of different organizations has been in existence since 2014. This group has helped insure the continuation of Aktion Saubere Hände, in particular between 2014 and 2016. We thank them for their assistance.
It is still possible to become a Sponsor of Aktion Saubere Hände by contributing €5000 or more annually. It is also possible to support the campaign with a donation of at least €500.
Your donation makes an important contribution to patient safety. With it you invest in an important and unique campaign in healthcare.
Medical institutions in Austria also participate in Aktion Saubere Hände. It has been implemented throughout the federal states of Styria, Tirol and Carinthia.
